The restaurant industry in Arizona was hit hard during the pandemic as fewer people were comfortable going out to eat and spending time with family and friends in a restaurant or bar.
That direction was generally reversed as more of us were getting vaccinated, wearing masks or simply choosing to go out more. But the lingering worker shortage and higher costs because of inflation are other challenges that the industry is dealing with.
