Starting next week, bulk trash pickup will be available to residents living between 75th and 91st avenues and Cactus and Olive roads.
The goal is to clean up large, bulky items left over from last Thursday’s intense monsoon.
The storms knocked out electricity, downed power lines and damaged roads. Schools in the area were also closed Friday due to power outages.
The city is asking residents to place any storm-related debris on the curb in front of their home without blocking the sidewalk.
