A new asteroid impact crater found in the north Atlantic Ocean could be from around the same time as the Chicxulub asteroid impact; that’s what’s thought to have led to dinosaurs’ extinction.

Veronica Bray is a research scientist at the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory at the University of Arizona where she studies impact craters; she’s also the co-author of a study detailing the find.
