More monsoon activity could mean flash flood warnings in Flagstaff

Flagstaff residents may need to prepare for more monsoon activity. National Weather Service meteorologist Megan Taylor said that those living in northern Arizona could even expect flash flood warnings.

“The forecast for the next few days, we’re in a very favorable monsoonal pattern meaning that plenty of moisture has moved back across the northern portions of the state, and so we’re looking at very good chances of showers and thunderstorms really all the way through the end of the week,” Taylor said.

However, she also says that storm activity will lessen heading into the weekend.
