Recent poll results from the Pew Research Center found a 15% jump in Latino voters who consider abortion an important issue.
About 80% of Latino voters in Arizona say they believe abortion should remain legal, no matter their personal views, according to a recent survey from Unidos US and Mi Familia Vota.
Mi Familia Vota Arizona State Director Carolina Rodriguez-Greer said recent restrictions on abortion access may drive some voters to the polls.
"That's really our north star," she said. "It's equipping the voter with that knowledge so that we can dive in deeper and, hopefully, put that power back in the voter's hands so that they can vote for the people who are advancing issues that are important to them."
Rodriguez-Greer said she hopes voters will realize the importance of midterms and other elections in the long term.
