A Maricopa County Superior Court judge will hear arguments next month in a case brought by some Arizona physicians; they’re arguing Arizona’s pre-statehood law generally banning abortions does not apply to them.
This comes after the state Court of Appeals overturned a Pima County judge’s ruling that that law should be allowed to take effect, since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
