After a wet and stormy weekend in the Valley, Arizona can expect some cooler weather later this week.
Jared Heil is a meteorologist with the Phoenix National Weather Service.
“We’re gonna return to some really nice autumn weather with low temperatures in the 60s and Valley high temps in the mid to upper eighties for the first half of the work week, maybe getting close to 90 on Thursday,” he says.
Heil also sees a possibility for a weather system that brings some showers in the latter part of the week. In Flagstaff, snow has fallen on mountain peaks and cooler temperatures are expected for the northern part of the state.
