The Great Divide: The economy is a particularly key factor in this year's midterms

Whether you're voting from your kitchen table or waiting to head to the polls on Election Day, chances are good that you're thinking about that ballot.

As elections grow increasingly divisive — particularly in Arizona — here at The Show, we've decided to focus this year on issues, not candidates.

This time, we focus on the economy — a key factor in this year’s midterms, from gas prices to inflation to the cost of housing.

To learn how important the economy is in the election, The Show spoke with economist Jim Rounds, president and CEO of Rounds Consulting Group, and Joe Garcia, vice president of public policy at Chicanos Por la Causa and executive director of the Chicanos Por la Causa Action Fund.
