Voices of young Arizona voters: Libertarian Ryne Bolick on being a RINO

This election season, The Show is asking young people to share their views on politics.

So far we’ve heard from a Republican and a Democrat. Now it’s time for a libertarian view.

In this case, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Ryne Bolick, 20, is the son of Arizona Supreme Court Justice Clint Bolick and Republican state Sen. Shawnna Bolick, who ran for secretary of state in the Republican primary. Ryne Bolick made headlines of his own last year when he called for the state’s public universities to allow guns on campus.

The Show heard from the younger Bolick about why he registered as a Republican and what it was like to grow up with politically prominent parents.
