November’s election is inching closer, as early voting is already underway in our state. And the momentum seems to be shifting in several key races — away from what many thought would be shoo-in candidates like Katie Hobbs and Mark Kelly toward their untested, far-right Republican opponents.
That’s the argument of GOP columnist Jon Gabriel at the Arizona Republic. And his colleague from the other side of the political spectrum, Elvia Díaz, doesn’t disagree. But she argues that what’s at stake is more important than politics.
