Arizona voters and poll workers facing intimidation and harassment

Early voting is underway in Arizona in advance of next month’s midterm elections.

But there have been a number of reports so far of voters bringing their ballots to drop boxes being intimidated and harassed by people who believe in conspiracy theories of widespread fraud in the 2020 election. In at least one case, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office was called in.

Both the Maricopa County recorder and chair of the Board of Supervisors say they are " deeply concerned about the safety of individuals who are exercising their constitutional right to vote."

To learn about these acts of intimidation, The Show spoke with Hank Stephenson of the Arizona Agenda.
