Scottsdale Canal Convergence celebrates 10 years with light-based art installations

In Scottsdale, the annual Canal Convergence art exhibition is celebrating its 10th year of featuring large-scale creative works.

Natalie Marsh, director of Arts Learning and Innovation for the city, recently talked to PBS’s “Arizona Horizon” about the event.

“I’d say it's kind of like a museum and a music festival if they came together. You see art, you engage with art, you take some pictures, you participate in workshops, you see some music,” she said.

This year’s theme is titled “ Celebrating 10 Years of Water, Art & Light,” and features light-based art every evening through Nov. 14 at the Scottsdale Waterfront.

EDITOR'S NOTE: The story has been updated to replace a previous photo of an art installation that wasn't affiliated with Canal Convergence.
