COVID-19 cases are on the rise. Here's how to prepare for an expected surge

COVID-19 cases are on the rise in some parts of the country, and some public health officials are concerned about the possibility of another winter surge.

The latest numbers from the state health department as of Nov. 9 show 7,360 new cases from last week, along with 40 new deaths reported; there were about 5,100 new cases last week over the previous one.

To learn about what’s happening now and what the next few months might hold, The Show spoke with Joe Gerald with the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona.
