Tucson International Airport passenger traffic surpasses pre-pandemic levels

Traffic at Tucson International Airport continues to surpass pre-pandemic levels.

The airport says the number of passengers who came to the airport in 2022 has topped 2019 levels in every month so far. The airport saw 317,000 passengers last month, nearly 2% more than in October 2019.

That number is also 134% greater than the same period in 2020 when demand was around 135,000 people to fly out of the airport. Tucson provides direct flights to 23 airports and connecting flights to more than 300 others.
