As the future of abortion care remains uncertain in Arizona and around the country post Roe v. Wade, let's turn now to a conversation about what things were like pre-Roe v. Wade in this region.

Murillo is an assistant professor at the University of Iowa and author of a forthcoming book on this topic titled, "Fighting for Control."

The Show spoke with her to learn about her findings.
