After a two-year hiatus, the Arizona International Auto Show returns to the Phoenix Convention Center for the holiday weekend.
Hundreds of new cars, trucks and crossover SUVs will be unlocked and open for visitors to explore without sales pressure. The show offers a chance for people to learn about the latest technologies and experience all electric vehicles by taking outdoor test drives.
Local car clubs including Intimidations, Groupe, High Class, Intruders, USO, Majestics, Es Todo and Tattoo Empire will have a collection of lowriders with owners on hand to answer questions. The winning car driven by Mark Donahue from the 1972 Indianapolis 500 will be on display.
On the luxury side, there’ll be models from Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati. Tickets are $11 for adults; kids under 13 are free when accompanied by an adult. The show opens Thanksgiving and runs through Saturday at 6 p.m.
