AZ gas prices are on the decline this holiday weekend

Here’s some good news for anyone driving long distances this holiday weekend. Arizona gas prices are continuing to decline.

AAA Arizona spokesperson John Treanor says the state average is down 3 cents from earlier in the week, but it remains above the national average by more than 50 cents.

“In Arizona the state average $4.14; the high prices you’re going to pay is in Maricopa County at $4.39; the low: just south of Pima at $3.53," Treanor said.

Treanor says prices should remain steady across the country. A cost spike has not been forecast to happen any time soon.
