Travelers should plan for spring break trips early

Those who have not booked for remaining holiday travel this year should expect to pay premium fees according to those in the travel industry.

However, if you’re looking to get away in the future on spring break 2023, for instance, good deals are likely to abound. That’s according to Nancy Purdin, owner of MVP Travel in Tucson.

“The whole month of March is hard, so if you’re planning on traveling over your spring break, definitely book that now," she said.

Purdin says flights for the spring season will fill up very quickly starting early next year especially for destinations in Central America such as Costa Rica and Belize. She also says booking in advance for summer trips would be a good idea.
