The AZ midterm elections results are official. What's expected to happen next

The results from last month’s election are final, after state officials certified them Dec. 5. But that doesn’t mean the election is necessarily over.

The Dec. 5 canvass starts a five-day clock on the window to file challenges and lawsuits related to the election; several are expected. And it looks like three races are headed to automatic recounts, including the attorney general’s race, in which the candidates are separated by 510 votes.

To learn about what happened and what’s expected to happen in the next few weeks, The Show spoke with Howard Fischer of Capitol Media Services.
