It may be the offseason for the Arizona State football team, but Friday the university announced another hire for its squad.
The Sun Devils have a new offensive coordinator in Beau Baldwin.
He announced his resignation from Cal Poly a week ago where he spent three years as head coach of the Mustangs, which suffered an abysmal record of 4-21.
Baldwin previously was the team’s offensive coordinator as well.
He had much better success as Eastern Washington’s head coach for nine years with a record of 85-32.
In that stint he won the 2010 national championship and three appearances in the FCS semifinals.
