A week before Christmas, the Valley is experiencing a shortage of Santas

There's typically no shortage of places where you can see Santa this time of year — malls, holiday light displays, special events and office parties, just to name a few. But there is currently a shortage of Santas in the Valley. And the reasons go beyond the fact that he’s busy overseeing toy-making and list-checking at the North Pole.

The Show recently sat down with the owner of Valley-based Santa Claus and Company, who asked us to just call him Santa, since he wants to keep the mystique for any kids who may be listening right now.

The conversation started by talking about the situation for his company, which has been around for 50 years, in terms of having enough Santas to send to events where they’re wanted.
