The Arizona Department of Transportation wants drivers to have a safe, stress-free holiday season and has not scheduled any full closures on state highways.
The agency says that travelers can expect heavy traffic due to holiday events and people taking road trips throughout the state.
It also recommends that drivers keep an eye on the weather and equip their vehicles with emergency supplies such as water, blankets, snacks, a flashlight, warm clothing and first aid kit.
