Texas buses more migrants to Washington, D.C, on a cold Christmas Eve

Throughout the year, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey and Texas Governor Greg Abbott have been busing migrants seeking asylum to Washington, D.C.

Three more buses from Texas arrived in D.C. on Christmas Eve.

The buses rolled in amid record-setting Christmas Eve cold in the nation’s capital, as temperatures dropped to about 15 degrees.

The buses carried more than 100 people, some of them wearing T-shirts.

Migrant activists say that although Texas authorities have not confirmed their involvement, the dropoff was in line with previous actions by Republicans Ducey and Abbott, who have been outspoken critics of the Biden administration’s border policies.

The migrants were taken to a local church to spend the night.
