After the bout of winter storms earlier this week that brought snow to northern Arizona, things s eem to be drying out — for now.
Meteorologist Carter Humphreys with the National Weather Service in Flagstaff says some lower elevations may see snow melt as high temperatures reach into the 60s.
“We’ll see temperatures keep warming at least through Thursday, but we do start to see that precip[itation] start to return to the region Thursday afternoon into Friday morning," Humphreys said.
In the meantime, Humphries says driving conditions should also improve over the next few days.
