This Tucson-based company is ready for Dry January with nonalcoholic craft cocktails

It’s Dry January, when lots of people decide to dry out after the excesses of the holidays. That means no alcohol for the month. It can have health benefits and helps a lot of folks to reassess their relationship with alcohol.

It seems it’s more popular than ever. Bloomberg reports nonalcoholic beverage sales are way up in the United States — in the year ending in August 2022, sales were up 20%  to $395 million.

A pair of Arizona business owners saw the trends and jumped into the market. Ila Byrne and Rudy Aldana are the co-founders of PARCH Spirits and Cocktails. The Tucson-based company is all about making craft cocktails without the booze.

The Show spoke with them both more about their business.
