Saskia Wilson-Brown is trying to change the way you think and talk about smells

Some senses are easier to talk about than others. And, some are more well understood than others.

Smell, it seems, is both difficult to discuss and not terribly well understood — at least not yet.

Saskia Wilson-Brown is trying to change that. Wilson-Brown is the founder and director of the Institute for Art and Olfaction in Los Angeles. She also has a podcast and radio show called “Perfume on the Radio,” where she talks about culture through the lens of smell.

She joined The Show to talk about the relationship between culture and smell.
