Arizona Lottery sales have resumed after officials say an update to install two new games caused the system to crash for more than a day.
The outage began Thursday and the ticketing system and prize-redemption capabilities were restored by midday Friday.
Scientific Games, which operates the state’s gaming system, suffered a crash.
The outage impacted all Arizona Lottery retailers preventing sales and redemptions.
Lottery ticket sales usually average between $3.5 and $3.9 million toward the end of the week.
