Republicans at the state Capitol are getting ready to send their version of a state budget to Gov. Katie Hobbs — a baseline budget that will likely be met with a hasty veto.
This comes after the new Democratic governor came out strong with an ambitious — and rather liberal — budget proposal earlier this month.
