Filmmaker Wes Anderson’s movies are known for their eccentricity and their aesthetics.
The sets and scenery in movies like "The Grand Budapest Hotel," "The French Dispatch" and "The Royal Tenenbaums" are, in some cases, as much a part of the story as the characters themselves. And Anderson’s fans have definitely taken notice.
Wally Koval co-founded a project with his wife, Amanda, called "Accidentally Wes Anderson." The website features photos from around the world of locations that match Anderson’s aesthetic — it includes a few from Arizona.
They’ve also put out a book, complete with a forward written by Anderson himself, and they’ve released a book of postcards featuring some of the locations.
Koval, who is based in Brooklyn, spoke with The Show about the impetus for the project.
