ASU professor explores the history of the passport

Passports are unique documents. They allow us to travel to places we couldn’t go without them — but not everywhere and not for everybody.

Arizona State University English professor Patrick Bixby explores the passport and all of the emotions that go along with it in his book "License to Travel: A Cultural History of the Passport."

The Show talked with Bixby about what got him interested in learning about the history of the passport.
