Reporters tested prescription drugs from Mexico. They found fentanyl and meth

A lot of Arizonans go to border towns in Mexico to get prescription drugs, where they can get cheaper medications, often without needing a prescription.

But  a new investigation from the Los Angeles Times raises serious concerns about this longtime practice.

Reporters Keri Blakinger and Connor Sheets went South of the border to several pharmacies in several different cities, bought drugs from pharmacies and tested them.

They found that many of them were counterfeit — containing often deadly drugs like fentanyl and methamphetamine.

The Show spoke with Blakinger about it the investigation.
