Dating has changed a lot in recent years. From the onset of dating websites to the world of dating apps today — let’s just say, it’s not your mother’s dating scene anymore.
Liesel Sharabi is an online dating expert. Sharabi is the author of the “Dating in the Digital Age” column for Psychology Today, as well as an assistant professor at Arizona State University's Hugh Downs School of Human Communication.
She’s out with a new study just in time for Valentine’s Day that dives deep into the world of digital dating.
In it, she surveyed people who had met their significant others online and found that a whole lot of them were in fulfilling relationships, ones they felt were stronger than they would’ve been if they had met the old-fashioned way.
Sharabi joined The Show to talk about the study.
