Arizona and other Western states are dealing with the effects of the ongoing drought. But in other cities, the problem is kind of the opposite: too much water and flooding.
What to do about these different but related issues was part of the focus of a recent gathering of the Ten Across Project. It includes cities along I-10 from Jacksonville, Florida, to Los Angeles that are all trying to work out issues on the horizon.
The latest conference was in Houston, where energy was also on the agenda.
Duke Reiter is the Executive Director of the Ten Across Project — he’s also a Senior Advisor to ASU President Michael Crow.
The Show spoke with him to learn about the issues on people’s minds in Houston.
