ADOT holds public input meetings for transportation system plan

ADOT is holding a series of public meetings for input on its Long Range Transportation Plan for 2050. The plan is intended to serve as a policy document that aids the agency and its partners in managing the state’s freeways.

Doug Nintzel is an ADOT spokesman.

“It’ll be a chance for members of the public to interact with those ADOT team members who are putting the plan together. We want to hear from folks and they can be as specific as they want," he said.

In-person and virtual events are scheduled throughout the state.

A draft plan is expected to be presented to the State Transportation Board in June.
