How some baseball rule changes may affect this year’s Cactus League

It might still feel like winter in Phoenix, but spring training is here.

Founded in 1947, the Cactus League has officially begun in the Valley — and it’s the first chance anyone is getting to see Major League Baseball's new rules of the game in action. 

From a new pitch clock to bigger bases, the goal is to make the game move faster. But it’s not come without its skeptics. 

The Show got a taste of it all with Cactus League historian and reporter Charlie Vascellaro at the historic Scottsdale Stadium earlier this week.
