Baseball fans in the Valley have a lot to choose from with the World Baseball Classic and the continuation of the Cactus League.
Attendance for the league is averaging about 300 more fans per game than last season.
“We had beautiful weather this past weekend. Friday and Saturday we had six different facilities with over 10,000 fans which is great,” said Cactus League executive director Bridget Binsbacher.
She also said at the start of the season there wasn’t much fan discussion about MLB rule changes, but as the season continues, she’s heard more chatter about those, particularly the pitching clock.
