Actor and comedian David Cross has done a lot of stuff so far over the course of his career. He’s been on TV shows ranging from “Arrested Development” to “Station Eleven” and in films like “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” and “Pitch Perfect 2.”
He also has been doing stand-up comedy since he was a teenager. Here he is in 2019 talking about parenting:
"We have to take (our daughter) in for her 1-year physical, which is a little overdue at this point. We have to take her in, and all my friends who have kids have told me the same thing — and that's a lot of people. And I know if you have a kid, you know what I’m about to say. But they’ve all been like “Oh man, that 1-year physical, oh it’s so hard to watch them go through that. It’s so difficult,” because there's all these needles, they get shots and vaccinations. They have to draw blood and all this stuff, like “Oh my God, it’s so awful to watch them go through that. It’s so terrible.” So what I've been doing with that in mind is I have been slowly introducing her to pain. But I'm having a clown do it. So it's fun. It's fun. See, there’s a parenting tip for you."
Cross is bringing his Worst Daddy in the World Tour to Phoenix on Tuesday night. The Show spoke with him and asked what’s been on his mind that he’ll be talking about.
