Just as warm weather arrives, a popular trail near Sedona has reopened after repairs.
The upper portion of the Cathedral Rock Trail reopened Friday morning, national forest officials announced.
The trail is popular for its sweeping views of Sedona’s Red Rock Country. Officials closed it in January to reconstruct rock walls and to install check steps to keep the trail from eroding. Some work along portions of the trail will continue for another week but there are reroutes.
As for the weather, temperatures will reach the mid 60s in Sedona this weekend.
