Gas prices in Arizona continue rising, as the average price for a gallon is $4.29, up 10 cents from a week ago.
AAA spokesperson Julian Paredes says spring demand and out-of-state factors have led to the jump.
"Arizona has seen especially high gas prices because of refineries in Texas and New Mexico going down for spring maintenance. And this is at a time when California refineries were already strained. So these prices are likely to stick around for a while," he said.
Though prices vary around the state, they are still higher than the national average.
