There’s a lot of conversation about people investing in their own communities — but Michael Shuman says that’s often easier said than done.
Shuman is an attorney, economist and professor of business in Bard College’s MBA program. He’d like to see residents have an easier time investing in their local businesses.
He’ll be talking about that Tuesday at the Arizona Good Business Summit sponsored by Local First Arizona.
The Show caught up with him earlier and asked how important it is for members of a community to be able to invest in locally owned businesses in their community.
