This week sees two big meetings of alliances on either side of the Ukraine war: Russia is meeting with Belarus, and NATO’s foreign ministers are gathering in Brussels. And Finland is set to become the latest member of the NATO alliance.
Meanwhile in India, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi will appeal a jail sentence in a defamation case brought against him a lawmaker from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s BJP Party.
And the trial is underway for Kosovo’s former president and former leader of the Kosovo Liberation Army Hashim Thaçi at the International Criminal Court at The Hague.
