The gun debate is once again center stage in American politics this week after yet another school shooting — this time at a school in Nashville that left six people dead, including three 9-year-old children.
But, there is little faith that anything will change in the current political climate — including here in Arizona.
This week on The Show, Democratic state Rep. Jennifer Longdon, herself a survivor of gun violence, talked about her efforts to pass meaningful reform here that are consistently shut down by Republican lawmakers in the majority.
The Show also turned to someone who has a lot of experience on the other side of the aisle. Longtime Arizona political strategist Chuck Coughlin is the president and CEO of GOP consulting firm HighGround. He talked about the political reality of gun reform from the Republican point of view and what this debate looks like through the conservative lens.
