The North Rim at Grand Canyon National Park will open later than usual this year, due to record-setting snowfall.
The North Rim, which closes in October and typically reopens in May, is now scheduled to reopen June 2, with the campground opening on June 9.
Workers need extra time to open facilities and clear trails and roads, including State Route 67.
The North Rim has recorded more than 250 inches of snow this winter.
