Mesa needs residents for advisory boards and committees

The city of Mesa wants residents to apply to serve on a variety of advisory boards and committees that make recommendations to the mayor and council.

Topics range from planning and zoning, to history and culture.

Mesa City Clerk Holly Moseley said ideal candidates will have subject-matter experience or interest.

“Because their perspective and their experience and their knowledge is what helps the city make business decisions,” Moseley said.

Moseley also said most of Mesa’s 20 boards and committees meet once a month, some gather quarterly and others get together more often.

Details for how to apply are available on the city’s website, mesaaz.gov.
