Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb is throwing his hat in the U.S. Senate race. He’s the first Republican to announce a run for the seat that Sen. Kyrsten Sinema currently holds.
According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Lamb is a “Constitutional Sheriff,” which is a movement that believes state and federal law should take a backseat to local jurisdiction. He is also a Trump supporter.
In his announcement video he mentions his priorities including securing the Southern border, combating cartels and ending the fentanyl crisis.
