Countries are racing to get nimble, electric air taxis off the ground

We might not be far away from a transportation future that looks a lot like something you’d see on “The Jetsons.”

No, we’re not talking about flying cars — but air taxis. These short-distance, helicopter-like aircraft are in development with a lot of money behind them across the globe.

But regulation is a bit further off.

Paul Brinkmann is a journalist who’s been covering this burgeoning industry for Aerospace America. The Show spoke with him more about it and, it turns out, some forms of air taxis are already here.
