What a Valley economist thinks about Arizona's spending predictions

New forecasts from the Legislature’s budget analysts show increases in spending and decreases in revenue growth over the next couple of fiscal years. The Joint Legislative Budget Committee, or JLBC, estimates balances for the next two years to be $2.5 billion, but, for the following year, they've predicted balances of $48 million.

Valley economist and president of the Maguire Company, Alan Maguire, talks about what this means for the state, and the lawmakers and governor crafting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
