Some car companies are dropping AM radio. What that could mean for its future

Ford has announced it’ll be dropping AM radios from many of its new vehicles starting in the 2024 model year.

Many electric vehicle manufacturers have already stopped including AM radios in their cars, arguing they’re not listenable because of interference from the electric motors.

The Show spoke with Jonathan Brewster, CEO of El Dorado Broadcasters, which owns AM stations in Yuma and California.
