Spring allergies acting up? Don't blame Arizona's wildflower superbloom

It’s been a colorful spring so far across much of Arizona, as our wet winter has led to wildflower superblooms. But, some of those blooms are also producing pollen, which is not great news for allergy sufferers.

With me to talk about all of this is Theresa Crimmins, a research professor at the University of Arizona and director of the USA National Phenology Network, which keeps track of when plants and animals undergo seasonal events.
