The National Park Service will be holding public meetings next month about several construction projects slated for Grand Canyon National Park’s South Rim.
Up for discussion is rehabilitation of the Transcanyon Water Line, the 12-½ mile long water line that feeds the south rim.
A $208 million contract was awarded last month for the project. Officials said it will be upgraded to supply water for the next 50 years and will be completed by 2027.
Meetings will also be held about a south rim substation and a road access project.
More information on times and locations can be found at the National Park Service’s Grand Canyon website.
